Applicants will be able to access the application platform from 17 October 2016 to 31 October 2016 at the following address:

Please note that the platform will not be accessible after 12:00 noon on 31 October.

Applying for a scholarship is divided into 3 steps:

1.     Register

2.     Apply (each candidate can apply to one or two universities)

3.     Upload required documents.

These instructions will help you with filling in the application form and uploading the required documents, which are described in the platform and also on this website under Required Documents.Templates (ready-made forms) for some of these documents can be accessed via the HERMES website (under "Required Documents") by clicking on the links provided.

Check if the mobility you are interested in is offered for your Target Group (see "Mobility" on the menu).

The Study Programmes offered by each University are displayed on the platform. If there is any discrepancy with the academic offerings on this webpage, it means that a change was necessary, and it is the offering on the application platform that is valid. The individual subjects that are offered within each Study Programme can be found on the websites, links to which are available on the platform. You will need to choose specific subjects for your draft study plan, unless you are applying for a full Master's degree (see "Required Documents").

Check if the offers that interest you have additional specific requirements (e.g. a language level higher than the usual B2). If you have any questions about the academic offerings, please contact the host institutions, by e-mailing either the contact person whose electronic address is displayed for each programme or the general contact person for each university. The names and e-mails of the general contact person for each university can be found on this webpage, under the menu "Academic Offerings".

All required documents have to be uploaded onto the application platform. Documents sent by post or e-mail will not be accepted.

You can interrupt your application and access and modify it at any time until you click on the SUBMIT button. When you do that, the application will be finalized and become inaccessible and you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please keep this e-mail, as it might be needed later on.

Please remember that you can apply to no more than two universities. Third Country candidates can only apply to EU universities and EU candidates only to Third Country Universities. Please also keep in mind that only a very small number of full-degree scholarships will be available and only at Master's (not PhD) level.
